I think I was ‘Hem’ (The character who denies and resists change as he fears it will lead to something he’s not prepared for. They feel like victims when it’s taken away and blame others).
Maybe not as extreme as the character, but that’s the idea.
Here are some lessons i picked from the book.

Life would be a lot easier for us if we;

-Could be more aware of the need to keep things simple, be flexible,
and move quickly.
-Didn’t need to overcomplicate matters or confuse ourselves with
fearful beliefs.
-Could notice when the little changes began so that we would be
better prepared for the big change that might be coming.

LESSONS FROM Haw ( the character who learns to adapt in time when he sees changing leads to something better).
-You need to adapt faster, if you do not adapt in time, you might as well not adapt at all.
-You need to know that the biggest inhibitor to change lies within yourself,
and that nothing gets better until you change.
-There is always ‘New Cheese’ out there whether you recognize it at the time, or not.
-You are rewarded with ‘it’ when you go past your fear and enjoy the adventure.
-Some fears should be respected, as it can keep you out of real

-Most of your fears are irrational and are keeping you from changing when you need to.

More lessons from Haw, Scurry and Sniff.
-Change Happens, so Anticipate Change.

-‘Cheese’ will definitely move.

-Get ready for the Cheese To Move.
-Monitor Change.
-Smell The Cheese Often So You Know When It Is Getting Old

-Adapt To Change Quickly.

-The Quicker You Let Go Of Old Cheese, The Sooner You Can Enjoy New

-Move With The Cheese.
-Enjoy Change!
-Savor The Adventure And Enjoy The Taste Of New Cheese.

-Be Ready To Change Quickly And Enjoy It Again & Again.

-Don’t wait for people who aren’t ready to change.

Be like Sniff; Sniff out the situation and see the change early.
And/Or like Scurry; Go into action immediately (Read in context).

Dont be like Hem, who wanted to stay in a familiar territory; who kept looking for what was gone; who would rather die than accept change; who let his fears take over him.

Learn to sniff out the changes ahead of time and scurry into
action, rather than get hemmed in and be left behind.

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!
Galatians 5:22-23
